The Baldacchino

Inspired by Gian Lorenzo Bernini's  baldacchino in  St. Peter's, the centerpiece of the garden is a groin vaulted concrete structure supported by spiral columns.   The roof is done using  hand made terracotta tiles set in mortar . A consealed cast concrete gutter will channel rain water to four corner gargoyles.  These terracotta  water spouts will represent the four seasons. An octagonal cupola    is being fabricated for the crowing top.
